Fire Training - Fire Awareness Course

Course Summary: A half day fire awareness course including a practical demonstration in the use of portable fire extinguishers.

Who should attend: This course would benefit any individuals in the workplace, building environment, social clubs, public buildings etc.

Number: The course is run for a maximum number of 10 delegates, thus enabling personal discussion on topics specific to your risk.

Location: At A & E Fire Equipment Ltd Head Office at Staverton in the purpose built training facility with outdoor fire demonstration area. This course may be offered at your own premises by arrangement.

Time: Morning or Afternoon sessions are available.

Content:

A presentation and discussion will be given covering the following main topics:

• Fire safety
• Action to be taken on discovering a fire
• Calling the fire brigade
• Action to be taken on hearing the Fire Alarm (Nominated Personnel)
• Checking the building for fire
• Information required by the Fire Brigade on arrival
• Cause of fire

Learning outcomes:

• Delegates gain fire safety awareness of their surrounding environment.
• Delegates understand prevention fire in the work place.
• Delegates learn correct responses in result of fire.
• Experience fire fighting and gain fire extinguisher knowledge.
