Environmental Policy

A&E Fire Equipment Ltd is committed to reducing the negative impact of our organisations activities upon the environment.

We are committed to creating a sustainable culture and promoting environmental awareness both within our organisation and external stakeholders to improve our effect upon environmental and social issues.

We aim to achieve a sustainable overall net positive affect on the environment by 2021.

2018 Aims and Objectives

  • Implementation of an Environmental Management System to continually identify areas of improvement within our organisation and carry out actions to increase our business sustainability and improve our effect on the environment.
  • Measuring and recording key environmental and social statistics of our organisations activities to create SMART (significant, motivational, achievable, realistic and timely) targets for 2019 to reduce our negative affect on the environment and local community.
  • Implement activities that have a positive effect on the company’s environmental impact.
  • Reward, encourage and incentivise all stakeholders of our organisation to work towards achieving a net positive affect on our environment and the local community.

Data Protection:

All of our staff who deal with information from databases to personnel records are made aware of the legislation surrounding data protection. Our employees and customer’s confidentiality is of paramount importance to us and we are pro-active in taking steps to ensure that this is never compromised.

Our business premises itself is also protected and is covered with security cameras, surveillance and 24-hour monitoring which ensures that our premises is secure and our information is protected.
