A&E Charity Support 2015 / 2016
A&E Fire is proud to announce that over the next 18 months we will be helping to support the wonderful work and care provided by two local charities – Acorn’s Children’s Hospice in Worcester and Sue Ryder Care’s Leckhampton Hospice.
Sue Ryder’s Leckhampton Hospice provides incredible hospice and neurological care and is committed to helping people and their family through very tough periods in their life. “Sue Ryder provides incredible care for people with life-limiting illness. Whether it’s bringing comfort to someone’s final days or enabling them to make the most of their life, we are here for them and those important to them”
Acorns Children’s Hospice offers a network of specialist palliative care and support to children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening illnesses, and their families. In the last year Acorns has supported over 760 children and more than 980 families, including those who are bereaved.
Leckhampton Hospice and Acorn’s Children’s Hospice have been chosen by our staff as the charities that A&E Fire would be honoured to support and so over the next 18-months we will be holding fundraising events such as quiz nights and participating in sponsored walks/runs/bike rides and other events to help make a small contribution to the wonderful work and care that these two charities provide.
We will also be offering our services helping at the Hospices whether that be helping with gardening, cleaning or any other help that these wonderful charities require!
