Behind the scenes at A&E Fire & Security with Punchline Gloucester
We were delighted to welcome Mark Owen, Editor of Punchline Gloucester, to our Cheltenham headquarters at Bamfurlong Industrial Park for a behind-the-scenes look at how A&E Fire & Security operates.
Mark toured our offices, warehouse and van maintenance depot, met members of our engineering, coordination, finance, customer service and fire risk assessment teams, and spoke with our Managing Director, Ed Stallard, about the history of the business and where it is heading.
Highlights from the feature
- Our journey since 1965, now in its third generation of family leadership
- Our Royal Warrant, and looking after Highgrove since 1984
- The scale of day-to-day operations, including our 24-hour emergency callout service
- Why we believe in being a medium-sized independent business: the personal service of a local company, with the resources to support large organisations and complex estates
- The often unseen work of our engineers, fire risk assessors and trainers in preventing fires before they happen
Mark finished his visit with some hands-on extinguisher training alongside one of our trainers. You can watch how he got on in the video below.
Thank you to Mark and the Punchline team for visiting, and to everyone at A&E who made the day such a success.
