We are a local, family run and well-established company, founded in 1965 who have continued to provide full 24-hour, 365 days a year support to businesses throughout the Midlands, South West and South Wales.

With approximately 75 directly employed fire and security specialists, we have your needs covered. Whilst sizeable enough to successfully manage large contracts we are small enough to provide you with the personal touch that is sometimes lacking in the larger national companies.

Responsibilities

Surveying, designing, pricing, specifying, and quoting for new fire and security installations and projects.

Creation of detailed and accurate engineer working project packs.

Surveying existing projects to report on status, quality and onsite progress. Reporting any Health and Safety issues or requirements to the company Health and Safety Coordinator.

Design and working drawings and deigns throughout projects from start to finish.

Working with the Installation Coordinator, Manager, engineers, contractors and customers to ensure projects and installation are completed on time, to good quality standards and profitable.

Responsible for the pre-start site surveys, project handovers to engineers and start meetings with engineers and customers.

Responsible for communicating with engineers and customers in the most proactive positive manner.

Assisting with creating final datasheets, commissioning certificates and user manuals following installation completion.

Assisting with completed jobs quality assessments and handover.

Assisting Coordination of materials with Purchasing Coordinator and reports.

Aims

Maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships.

Working with the team to deliver profitable installations and projects.

Providing new Fire and Security Systems over to the Service Team to maintain for the future.

Key Attributes:

You will be a proactive multitasker with excellent organisational skills. You will have an attention to the finer details with the ability to work well as part of a team, with a proven track record in a busy customer service focused environment.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and manufacturers and uphold a flexible approach to your role.

Ideally you will be a graduate with a relevant degree or higher education qualification and/or must be familiar with working in a busy, “quick response” environment with the assurance of being a reliable and assertive member of our busy operational team.

Experience in construction or contracting is essential.

Salary: Dependant on candidate and experience
