A&E Fire and Security can provide various first aid training packages to your staff, through our Sub-contract partner, Zone Safety. We can hold the first aid training at our office in Staverton, Cheltenham or at your preferred location. If you require other training such as CPR &AED. Please get in touch with a member of our team.
This is a 6-hour course which meets the requirement of schools to have first aid trained staff in line with HSE, Ofsted and DFE regulations. As with all our courses we can specifically tailor this course to suit your business environment, ensuring that potential first aid requirements are covered.
This course would benefit any person aged 16+ including students, teachers, teaching assistants or other support staff.
Course Content:
- The role of the first aider
- The importance of preventing cross infection
- The need for recording incidents and actions
- Unconscious Casualty Care
- CPR
- How to effectively aid people who are
- Choking
- Wounded and Bleeding
- Shock
- Burns
We also include training on using an EpiPen in case of anaphylaxis and the use of inhalers for the emergency care of asthma.
Certification
All candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years
We also have a First Aid Training at Work (Level 2) course available for businesses which are deemed to have a lower level of potential risk to their staff (e.g. an office or business with no use of machinery).
