A quality fire risk assessment is a vital obligation in fire safety legislation for all non-domestic/commercial buildings nationwide.

A “suitable and sufficient” Fire Risk Assessment is the core foundation of any building’s fire safety policy. Its purpose is to identify any hazards and provide important information for the person responsible for fire safety to carry out, mitigating any risk as best as possible.

Due to the significant responsibility placed on the Responsible Person/Duty Holder for premises and organisation it is strongly recommended to use an appropriate Third Party Certified provider.

A&E Fire and Security is Third Party Certified under the BAFE SP205 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment Scheme which exists to deliver quality, independent evidence that providers are competent to deliver quality fire risk assessment services.

Additionally A&E Fire and Security provides our customers with Five Million Pounds of Professional Indemnity Insurance. No Fire Risk Assessor should carry out Risk Assessments without this level of insurance cover.

All our Fire Risk Assessors are experienced, fully qualified and certified from various accredited bodies including, the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE), the Fire Service College, the Independent Fire Engineering & Distributors Association (IFEDA) and National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).

We provide each of our customers with a comprehensive and detailed fire risk assessment report. The document will always clearly identify what is required and what is recommended, and we ensure to consistently engage and work with our customers to discuss all the options available to achieve compliance.

Our Risk Assessment service is independent from our Service and Install services. However, there is the benefit that if you would like the option of using us for any recommended or required works that our service and/or installation team can work with the document to provide proposed costs and help with compliance.
