Cheltenham College have been looked after by A&E Fire and Security since 2011. With over 10 years’ experience working for and with Cheltenham College, we have understandably gained an incredible insight into the premises’ qualities, difficulties and unique facilities. Looking after around 25 separate buildings, we have carried out almost every kind of service available.
Grade 1 listed Installations (Chapel Building)
Cheltenham College’s Chapel building is one of their most complex buildings. With a Grade 1 listing, this premises has a strict set of precautions and inhabitations that mean our engineers must be incredibly delicate, thoughtful and educated on how to go about an installation.
Form creating cable runs that are hidden out of site to comply with aesthetic regulations, to focusing projects to run with minimal disruption to the integrity of the property and walls themselves. This means intricate plans need to be drawn up to keep customers happy and comply with all Grade regulations.
In 2018, Cheltenham College tasked A&E with fitting an entirely new monitoring system. This project took around a number of months to complete, and our engineers worked difficult hours to ensure that there was minimal disruption to school life.
There have been significant challenges and hurdles our team has had to adapt to and overcome these past few years, however, we are proud to see that Cheltenham College have been and remain to be a fantastic, valued customer of ours.
